BlitzFitness is an award winning outdoor fitness company founded in 2009 by Karen Crump and Lara Milward. Combining their love of the outdoors with their sporting backgrounds, Karen and Lara are providing a unique service; two trainers are always present to ensure that the emphasis is on high quality coaching for all fitness levels – whilst one is instructing, the other is checking alignment, positioning and providing support. All groups sessions cover the five main elements of fitness training: strength, cardio, core stability, flexibility and FUN!

Lara Milward

Level 3 Advanced Instructor, Personal Trainer, Pilates Teacher, Nutritionist, County & Masters swimming, Netballer, Ultra-marathoner, Skier, Bungee Jumper and Singer.  Additional training: Circuit training, Torso & Core Stability, Bootcamp Fitness, Anatomy & Physiology; Weight Management; GP Referral.

Karen Crump

Level 3 Advanced Instructor, Personal Trainer, Ante/Post Natal Exercise Trainer, Children’s Fitness Trainer, National league sprinter, loves to ski (worked seasons in the French and Swiss Alps). Can’t sing for toffee! Additional training: Torso and Core Stability, Nutrition and Weight Management, Training in Different Environments, Business and Marketing, Boxing for Fitness.

Katie Edden

Level 3 Advanced Instructor, Personal Trainer, Meditation, Mindfulness and Relaxation Coach, runner, bootcamp enthusiast and lover of the great outdoors. Additional training:  Suspension Training,  Total Group Instructor

When space is available, switch to a different session if unable to make your regular slot. All credit sessions to be used before the end of term.

WHY

Combining strength and cardio work burns fat, builds muscle and boosts your metabolism. Training in the elements is invigorating and rewarding and being in a group makes for great camaraderie. Who needs the gym?!

Our outdoor classes are based around high intensity interval training; the best full body workout you can get in an hour whatever your fitness level.

The weather never gets in our way – in fact it adds to the fun!

All you need is a bottle of water and a sense of humour.
