About Blitz Outdoor

Combining strength and cardio work burns fat, builds muscle and boosts your metabolism. Blitz Outdoor: training in the elements is invigorating and rewarding and being in a group makes for great camaraderie. The weather never gets in our way – in fact it adds to the fun! About Blitz Online

Full body workout, 40-45 minute zoom sessions in your own home, garden, workplace or holiday location – wherever you are in the world! Either interactive and live or as a recording to train at your convenience at a time to suit your schedule.

Luckily, and basically overnight, Karen, Emily and Katie invented Blitz Online and made sure that we came out even stronger, physically and mentally. About Pilates

Why Pilates? Pilates workouts promote strength and balanced muscle development as well as flexibility and increase the range of motion for the joints. Pilates can relieve stress and tension and help reduce the risk of injury. Regular practitioners see huge postural and core strength benefits and it is suitable for everyone.

We are super lucky to have two excellent Pilates instructors on the Blitz Team.

Melissa Ramini trained as a classical ballet dancer touring Europe then later worked with contemporary dance companies. In 2003 she trained with The Pilates Foundation and teaches a mixture of the classical repertoire and evolved Pilates Matwork.

Emma Murray trained and qualified in 2018 with Polestar Pilates, known for its strong emphasis on movement science, biomechanics and a holistic approach to clients’ needs

About Blitz Strength and Conditioning

Our strength and conditioning sessions will be a great complement to your existing Blitz training or equally as a way to build strength for those of you who are not currently Blitzing with us.

Why is strength training important for people of all ages and fitness levels?

  • Helps prevent injury by reducing any muscle imbalances and joint weaknesses.
  • Maintains bone density and muscle mass decreasing the risk of osteoporosis and fractures.
  • Improves posture focusing on core muscles and easing lower back pain.
  • Increases metabolism by building more muscle mass.
  • Enhances mood and reduces stress in the same way as all our BlitzFitness sessions – increased endorphins in a fun, friendly environment!
